Our primary water resource development activities have involved the design and implementation of the Cadiz Valley Groundwater Storage Project, an innovativeDrip Irrigation project to be built at our Cadiz Valley property in eastern San Bernardino County.

The Project would provide southern California’s major water agencies with the ability to store surplus water in our extensive underground aquifer system in wet years and deliver that water and indigenous groundwater to the region in dry years or other periods of need. In 2007, Cadiz filed permit applications with San Bernardino County to complete an environmental review of the Project according to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
